Day 1 Mumbai – Chandigarh by flight Chandigarh –Shimla (120 km/ 5-6 hrs)
Meals: Dinner
Morning, met upon arrival at Chandigarh airport & drive to Shimla. En-route visit Pinjore Garden. Upon arrival at Shimla, check in at the hotel. Evening is at leisure.

Day 2 : Shimla
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a half day excursion toKufri(2500mts). Visit Indira Bungalow & the Himalayan Zoo (Extra charges for Pony ride to be paid directly by the guest). Afternoon: Visit the famous Mall road, Scandal Point & Shimla Church.

Day 3: Shimla - Manali (272 Kms |9 to 10 hrs)
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner Meals: Breakfast & DinnerAfter breakfast at hotel, depart for Manali. Drive past Beas-Sutlej Link project, Pandoh Dam, Kullu Valley &Kullu Shawl factory. Check in to your hotel on arrival. Stay overnight at the hotel in Manali.

Day 4 :Manali
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for a half day sightseeing tour. Visit VashishthaKund, Hidimba Temple, Manu Mandir and GayatriMandir. Rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities. Stay overnight at the hotel in Manali.

Day 5 :Manali
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast, take an excursion to Rohtang Snow Point (closed on Tuesday)enroute visiting Kothi. On return, take an excursion to Solang Valley. You can opt for adventure sports like Para Gliding, Zorbing, Skiing (subject to snow) on direct payment basis. Return to Manali. Stay overnight at the hotel in Manali.

Day 6 :Manali - Chandigarh (250 Kms | 9 to 10 hrs)
Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Chandigarh. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 : Chandigarh - Mumbai by flight
Meals: Breakfast Early morning, transfer to Chandigarh airport to board flight to Mumbai. (Packed breakfast shall be provided) For those who have an evening flight, take a tour of Rock Garden (closed on Thursdays & Public Holidays) &Sukhna Lake. After the tour transfer to the airport to board flight to Mumbai.
 
 

    
Shimla - Manali
Shimla formerly known as Simla, is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. In 1864, Shimla was declared the summer capital of the British Raj in India. A popular tourist destination, Shimla is often referred to as the "Queen of Hills," a term coined by the British. Located in the north-west Himalayas at an average altitude of 2,205 metres (7,234ft)

Manali (alt. 1,950 m or 6,398 ft), in the Beas River valley, is an important hill station in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, India, near the northern end of the Kullu Valley. It is located about 250 kilometres (155 mi) north of state capital, Shimla.

How to get there :
By Road :
Shimla is well connected by road with Kalka, Chandigarh, Ambala, Delhi, Dehradun, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Jammu and other towns of Punjab and Haryana.

By Train : Shimla is connected by a broad gauge line up to Kalka. From Kalka to Shimla, a narrow gauge line covers 96 kilometers, of track. The journey by train, which takes about six hours, crossing 103 tunnels is one of the finest ways of enjoying the scenic beauty. There is another option for a fast train, Shiwalik Express or a delightful ride in the Rail Car. The Rail Car takes about 4 hours. Kalka has direct rail connections with Delhi, Calcutta and Amritsar.
By Air : Nearest airport to Shimla is at Jubberhatti, 26 km from Shimla. It has connecting flights to Delhi and Kullu. The nearby Chandigarh airport is, however, more handy as it is connected to all the major airports in India.
Best time to visit : Shimla has a temperate climate which ranges from 14-27 degrees in the summer and average of 5-16 degrees in the winter. Summer months are very pleasant while winter is very freezing with snowfall in the month of January. The best time to visit Shimla is between April to July during the summer.

 

Dharamshala & Dalhousie
Dharamshala is a city in northern India. It was formerly known as Bhagsu; it is the winter seat of government of the state of Himachal Pradesh and the district headquarters of the Kangra district.

McLeodganj, a village within Dharamshala municipality, is the home of the Dalai Lama and the exiled Tibetan government.
Dalhousie is a beautiful hill station in Himachal Pradesh. Established in 1854 by the British Empire in India as a summer retreat for its troops and bureaucrats.

It is built on and around five hills. Located on the western edge of the Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas, it is surrounded by the beautiful scenery of snow-capped peaks. Dalhousie is situated between 6,000 and 9,000 feet above sea level.

By Road :
11 hours. Route: Delhi-Ambala(NH1), Ambala-Zirakpur(Nh22), Zirakpur-Kiratpur(NH21), Kiratpur-Dharamshala via Una (State Road).
By Train : 2413 JP Jat Express 8 hours (Night), 4033 Jammu Mail 10 hours(Night)
By Air : 1 hour
Best time to visit : Summer with the peak tourist season from May to September.

 

Golden Triangle
India's Golden Triangle is a tourist circuit which includes: Delhi, Agra (including the Taj Mahal), and Jaipur. These trips usually last 7 or 8 days and do the trip as a circuit starting and ending in Delhi. Starting with Delhi, one sees a modern metropolitan that is home to people of different regions, languages and cultures. Created mainly between the thirteenth and seventeenth centuries, Jaipur - the capital of the state of Rajasthan was actually color washed with pink to create the impression similar to the red standstone of the mughal cities. By Road :
Agra has the National Highway Numbers 2, 3, 11 passing through it. The premier tourist destination of India, Agra is also well linked by bus services to other places in the state as well as outside the state. The state transport have deluxe as well as ordinary bus services for the place. There are conducted tours which take tourist not only to Agra, but also to near by tourist spots.
By Train : Agra is one of the hottest tourist destinations in India and all facilities have been provided for the easy access to this place. It has its own airport which connects Agra with all the major places in India. The Agra airport or the Kheria airport has all the major domestic airlines having their services to this place of the Taj.
By Air: Agra is a major railway station with almost all the trains to south India, Mumbai and many trains to Calcutta stopping here. Agra city is visited by the "Palace on Wheels". The Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains have also their stops in Agra. The city is well connected by trains to almost every corner of the nation.
